My Tale

When I am writing these lines (2025), I am one year shy of being a nonagenarian. (Jesus Christ; mention it to no one, me included!)

I was born in Europe but have lived in the Greater Los Angeles area since 1980.

By profession, I am a physician and a published author in American surgical literature. However, at no point in my life did I feel any nightmarish belletristic inclinations.

Committing sentences to paper or crafting a narrative on a computer screen for the public outside my profession was never considered in any of the six languages I speak. A potential torment? Absolutely! So, what's the sudden shift in direction and the refreshed approach?

It was 2009; I was already a 'young' 73 years of age and a widower for well over a year when I sensed the yearning for some lustful bedroom games, a place I call sexodrome.

Making use of a sexplicit website and by the luck of the draw, my life intersected with a God/fate-sent, amazing, 42-year-old, drop-dead-gorgeous, sexiness-percolating lass, and ONLY 31 springs my junior. How much luckier could I get? When this unusual, unorthodox, age-gap love affair with Vronica (an e-less Veronica) came close to the unanticipated ten-year milestone, I decided, against my original instinct, to indeed immortalize our unique, passionate love story and share it with genre-loving bookworms. A love story that conquered not only the unbefitting steep generational difference but also a 7500-mile, three-month separation just a few months into our union.

I realized, however, that such a steep age gap romantic, erotic tale may not be well-suited to the author's advanced age and professional background, so I chose TG Gore as a pen name.

To write a book was not a painless choice. My mother tongue and education were not in English. Besides, once the commitment was made, I had to learn to overcome the many challenges an indie writer encounters to ensure a higher-quality narrative. Among such obstacles were episodes of lack of confidence, the dreaded writer's block, and the constant self-editing and re- editing of an already accepted text each time it was revisited.

Four years after the book's early draft, under a different but closely related title to the current one, I added original love letters and authentic photos, and named the new tome Ageless Desire-a Steep Age Gap Romantic Erotic Tale.

I learned a long time ago that occasionally, when it rains, it pours. Thus, while revising the narrative, the conquered angst of book writing enabled me to consider composing another short romantic narrative-a novelette, as this type of writing is called-and I named it Three Encounters of the Romantic Kind.

The lines describe the captivating ways I intersected with the three most significant women in my life. It details how I met my two wives and that very special, 31-year-younger, carnality-oozing lass I, already a septuagenarian, met on that risque website. No doubt, I owe her an over-a-decade-long, exciting old-age love affair and the unexpected sexual resurrection at a time when most men that age have mostly given it up.
